REFUND POLICY:

We will refund any customer if he/she decides to not to keep the product within 30-days of shipment of the order. A FULL refund minus 10% restocking fee will be granted only after the item has been returned.

Unless previously agreed in written message from Dark Defense, ALL products with applicable lead time or sold in the form of a “pre-order” cannot be refunded until they are shipped and a satisfaction guarantee claim has been requested and the item returned within 30 days AFTER the item has shipped from our facility. The reason for this is we make these products ‘to-order’ many times. The 30-day satisfaction guarantee will STILL apply and begin from the time the item is actually shipped to you (the customer).

Many times a simple message can solve any issues if you are not sure when the item will ship. You can message us at anytime to Service.DarkDefense[AT]gmail[DOT]com – we’d be more than happy to explain the situation.

If your product fails to work within the 1-year warranty, we may offer you the same amount in Dark Defense CASH for you to use on another purchase if a direct replacement cannot be granted during that time. Please contact us if you need a warranty replacement or exchange.

By purchasing any lights from Dark Defense (Riviton LLC) You agree to not use them on the highway or any legal roadway. These lights are far too bright to risk blindness of other drivers and are only for use on closed course use in a way that will not harm others. Use of the Dark Defence lights or other accessories AT YOUR OWN RISK. By purchasing our lights, you agree to not hold us liable from any lawsuit that may come from the use of our lights or accessories in any way. We do not guarantee or warranty any factor other than what is found in our limited 1-year warranty. We also do not guarantee or warranty any vehicle component when combined with our lights. You take full responsibility for how you install our lights and how you decide to use them. You also agree to the understanding that the design of our Dark Defence DDS4 3″ pod light is not our own housing design, but sourced from a reliable manufacturer. We have custom ordered this pod light model with a different chip (Real CREE XLamp XM-L2) than offered elsewhere online from China. You also agree to the understanding that we do not own the rights to the design of the DDS4 when it comes to housing. California users also should know that these lights may contain substances known to the state of California to cause cancer. We maintain a USE AT YOUR OWN RISK policy for all aspects of our products.

Coupons and code usage:

We also do not allow coupon stacking at this time and may refund or cancel orders where this happens due to a technical error.

30-DAY MONEY-BACK GUARANTEE:

We guarantee that you’ll love our lights, but if you ever decide you don’t like anything about the lights EVEN after using them on your vehicle, please contact us within 30 days of your purchase and confirmed payment date for a full refund after you ship your item back to us. After we have received them, we will grant you a refund. We may not refund you if the items are lost in the mail, or we notice abuse beyond normal use/wear and tear that renders the item unusable.

Your product comes with a 1-Year warranty. The warranty ensures that your light will continue running througout the year and hopefully much much longer.

What we DO warranty:

If something happens to the light from what we determine as normal wear and tear that causes an issue in normal functionality, we will fix or repair your light. You will have to pay the shipping to our repair location and we will ship it back FREE of charge. We can also send you the part to repair your own light if the broken piece can be sourced from our manufacturer. If for any reason we cannot fix the issue with the light, it will be replaced with a comparable condition light, many times brand new condition. If for any reason we cannot offer the same model, we will refund you the cost of the light excluding shipping after receiving your light back to our repair location.

What we DO NOT warranty:

We don’t warranty issues that don’t interfere with normal wear and tear or use. For example, rock chips can damage the powder coating and damage the lens. Sun can cause fading as well as the high heat of the LED chips. We don’t warranty this kind of damage or use. You can purchase replacement parts at a discounted rate 20% off if you damage your item and still desire a replacement part or light. We also don’t warranty any other component in your vehicle. You should install these lights at your own risk and have a sufficient understanding of electrical wiring. Although we have never encountered an issue with any of our customers, we still maintain no warranty coverage for damage caused to your vehicle or others out of the normal use OR improper use of our lights.
